Grinberg Methode

Let the body work and be free

The Grinberg Method is a body-oriented approach that focuses on awareness and learning.

It is not a healing modality where something is “done” to you. It is a process in which you learn about yourself — about your patterns, your reactions, and the ways you hold tension, pain, or fear in your body.

Through attention, breathing, and touch, we work directly with the body.

The body speaks its own language. When we learn to listen, it begins to respond.

As awareness grows, emotions may surface.

Energy that has been held or suppressed can start to move. Pain — physical or emotional — can begin to transform.

**

Many of our behaviors are automatic. We repeat patterns without even realizing it. By developing body awareness, you begin to recognize these patterns as they happen. And in that moment of recognition, something powerful becomes possible: you can choose differently.

You can stop behaviors you no longer want to repeat.

You can respond instead of react.

You can decide who you want to be, and how you want to relate to pain, fear, and challenge.

When we release familiar patterns of tension and control, we allow the body to use its own intelligence and resilience. The body knows how to organize itself. The body knows how to move toward freedom.

The Grinberg Method invites you to learn, to feel, and to take responsibility for your experience — not by thinking more, but by becoming more present in your body.

If you are ready to meet yourself in a direct and embodied way, this work may be for you.

The First Session – Introduction & Discovery (60 minutes)

Our first meeting is an introduction session.

This is where we get to know each other and explore why you’re here. Together, we clarify:

  • What is your aim?

  • What would you like to change or strengthen?

  • What feels stuck, repetitive, or unclear in your life?

  • What do you want to learn about yourself?

I’ll ask you questions to understand your patterns, habits, and how you experience yourself. I also look at your feet — they give valuable information about how you stand in life, where you hold tension, and how you move through the world.

There is space for you to share, ask questions, and feel whether this way of working resonates with you. This session is about creating clarity and direction together.

At the end of this first session, you’ll receive your first 20-minute bodywork experience, so you can immediately feel what the work is like in your body

The Following Sessions – 60 Minutes (40 Minutes on the Table)

After the introduction session, we schedule follow-up sessions. Each session lasts 60 minutes, of which 40 minutes are on the table.

During these sessions:

  • You lie comfortably on a massage table.

  • I guide you through breathing.

  • I use touch to help you notice where you hold tension or block certain sensations.

  • We work with what shows up in the moment — physically and emotionally.

This is not a healing treatment that is “done” to you. It is a learning process. You learn to recognize your patterns in your body. Its 80% you who is working and 20% of me guiding you and holding space so you can learn where you hold yourself back and stop habits that limit you.

Sometimes emotions arise. Sometimes energy shifts. Sometimes there is silence. Sometimes insight. Everything that comes up is welcome.

''Since the Grinberg sessions, I feel more calm in my body. I feel less like I am constantly 'on'. I am much more aware of the restlessness and the associated sensations, which allows me to get my breathing under control more quickly. This is due to one of the sessions where we focused on what my body does in response to stress or tension. This was a real eye-opener for me.

During major changes in my life, I can still feel the panic rising, but so far it hasn't escalated into a panic attack. I am glad that I have taken another step closer to peace and acceptance in my mind.'' - M.
